YACKO's NEW SINGLE "THANG" IS RELEASED

 

3 pm at Jakarta’s time on the 28^th of February 28, 2016, Yacko has just released her latest single called “THANG” in YouTube. Here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j62wLk_cxN4

“THANG” is taken from the slang of the word “thing” and is part of the sentence “Do My Thing”. This song talks about someone’s right and freedom to become what she/he wants to be without fear of being judged and stereotyped by others and the society. Yacko stated in her lyrics “You can love me or you can hate me, it don’t matter coz imma still do ma thang”. Every person has their own identity and beauty, so we should celebrate diversity and do our thang! ‪#‎THANG‬

The music was produced by DJ Random (Lawrence Philip) which was Yacko’s music producer for The Experiment (Yacko’s latest album). The video itself was made by PrinceFilms. Directed and edited by Jovan Arvisco and produced by Mutiara PA.

Prior to the release of this single, Yacko held an artwork design competition of “THANG” which was won by Ican*Agoesdjam. This artwork is used for “THANG”s cover of digital release.
